At Private Scan, we believe your data belongs to you. This application operates with a "Zero-Knowledge" architecture. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, documents, or images processed by the application.
All OCR (Optical Character Recognition) operations are performed locally on your device using our proprietary Rust engine. Our application is designed to function entirely without an internet connection for core tasks.
We do not use third-party tracking, analytics, or advertising SDKs. The only internet communication occurs during optional translation downloads or payment processing handled by the Google Play Store securely.
By using Private Scan, you acknowledge that your data is stored solely on your device and you are responsible for its backup and security.
